You have come to the right place, my friend.

I’m going to highlight four of my favorite show apps that are revolutionizing how managers and exhibitors approach planning and help them achieve their goals.

Map Your Show

Map Your Show is one of the best show management apps available and here are 5 reasons you’ll love it…

Reason #1 – if you use Map Your Show software on your computer, then you’re going to fall head over heels for the simplicity and ease of having access to it. All.The.Time.

If you aren’t familiar with the software, Map Your Show makes it easy to integrate your show and helps you handle all aspects of trade show logistics, from creating a floor plan to statistics and communication.

Reason #2 -you can participate in live booth sales without having to be present.

Reason #3-there are mobile-only sponsorships available which can increase profits.

Reason #4- the communication is top-notch guys. The app lets me send messages instantly to exhibitors and attendees or schedule them out as I see fit.

Show Specific App

I love to use a show-specific app because it is tailor-made just for my event and I can tweak it when needed on the fly.

And I don’t have to deal with paper programs left strewn all over when the event has concluded.

From a business standpoint, paper programs no longer make sense and since you aren’t taking advice from Michael Scott, I think it’s safe to say that a more tech-savvy approach would be a better alternative.

Here are a few reasons to go green and help attendees get the most out of their experience…

Reason #1- Changes can be updated in real-time. You can’t do that with a printout.

Reason #2- Active participation from attendees. An app makes it possible for guests to create their own schedule, use integrated social media platforms, check out exhibitor listings, floor plans and so much more. It’s engagement at its best.

Reason #3- It’s a green alternative to paper waste. And you don’t have to deal with figuring out how many units to print.

Reason #4- You can sell sponsorships through the app while current sponsors can influence their target audience in a more meaningful way.

Reason #5- You can include short bios on keynote speakers and exhibitors that link to their websites. Relevant pop-up ads can also be utilized. Just don’t overdo it -attendees don’t want to be inundated with pop-ups.

The swag promoting app Balou is an emerging favorite among exhibitors and one that I have been recommending with more frequency.

Its user-friendly interface lets guests search shows to see the free stuff they’ll snag and prizes they could win if they attend.

After registering with Balou, exhibitors get access to the administrative portal where they can list their swag items and promote special events.

This app is especially helpful for the exhibitors that might be giving away some killer swag but don’t have a prominent spot on the show floor. Balou gives them more visibility resulting in more traffic to their booth.
