Case Study: Georgia Fleet Expo
Problem: Georgia Motor Trucking Association wanted to change venues for their annual tradeshow and began sending our RFPs to Atlanta Convention Centers. This event hosts a unique luncheon where their exhibitors cook food for the attendees. It has become the focal point of this event, exhibitors and attendees alike are excited for it each year. Most convention centers make their money on food and beverage sales, so an event that provides food and feeds their group is not necessarily a lucrative event for a center. When our client began looking at new venues, this became a point of contention and was forcing them to decide if they stopped doing this lunch tradition or keep the event where they are.
Solution: Jacoby Expo has a great relationship with the facility and its team members that GMTA was most interested in moving too. We put in some calls and came up with unique ways to help make this a win-win situation for all parties involved. The event officially made the move and is happy in their new location.
